August’s Most Beautiful Man

Mostbeautifulman.com chooses Ryan Vigilant to be its most beautiful man of the month.  Vigilant has only been modelling for three years but already landed ad campaigns for “Levis,” “D&G” and “Nike,” as well as gracing the pages of “Maxim Style” and has been photographed by numerous elite photographers in the fashion industry: from Greg Vaughn and Joe Lally, in his first two years.  Obviously Mr. Vigilant’s career is flying.

Ralph Lauren’s Olympics Uniforms

Preppy Olympics uniforms? Yes it’s here and it’s by Ralph Lauren! The velvet leotards, the flips and the landings are all oh so lovable! Standard red, white and navy blue are used (and they compliment each other perfectly). No doubt the American team of this year’s Olympics will look preppier than ever. The opening-ceremony look consists of classy navy blazers with white driving hats and canvas walking shoes; for the closing ceremonies, it’s classic polos and sleeveless sweaters.

Garrett Neff Still Working for Calvin Klein

Model Garrett Neff, who’s the face and body of Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans (remember the billboard for CK Man Fragrance?),  is set to be hitting billboards and magazines again this autumn for the new Calvin Klein’s Body and Body Stretch underwear.

According to DNR, “Shot on location in Miami by renowned photographer Bruce Weber, who shot Calvin Klein Underwear’s first ad campaign 25 years ago, the sexy black-and-white images epitomize the very clean yet sensual aesthetic that Calvin Klein has become so well known for. Neff, who is the face of the company’s fragrance, Calvin Klein Man, was featured alongside Kate Bosworth in the spring ad campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans. He succeeds Academy Award–nominated actor Djimon Hounsou as Calvin Klein’s latest body.

Surfer-turned-Armani Model Strikes a Grueling Pose

To me, the limelight wasn’t on the openly gay singer Sam Sparrow in the June edition of Attitude Magazine. The real star was the Australian surfer-turned-Armani model Jaymes Triglone who posed around the pool in swim wear. The layout “Before Night Falls” was done by the gifted Simon Harris. In one of the pages, we see Triglone supporting his body which was leaning on air with his pointed toes and hands on the rail but still looking effortless (and sexy!) Now that’s a professional.

Fashion Disaster: Britney Spears

You got it! The fashion victim of the month is the legendary Britney Spears. Lifetime Television interviews women on the streets to comment on her sense of fashion. The ultimate question is, would YOU wear this? Would YOU let anyone you know wear it?

Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels

Pick the stars from the sky and wear the universe at your wrist. Oh isn’t that romantic? Reading time with the stars under the Paris constellation can now be done through the Midnight in Paris timepiece. It represents the map of stars under the Parisian sky. The mechanical movement is unique, its extreme complexity linking the concept of time to that of the Cosmos as a dazzling homage to that other mysterious and fascinating world.

The Midnight in Paris timepiece recreates the map of the celestial dome. This is done by a rotating disk made of aventurine glass. The mechanism of this jewel-like timepiece is visible thanks to a sapphire glass case back that is protected by a pink gold moveable flap. On the back of the timepiece, the disk surrounding the calendar is set with real meteorite stone.
