Paris Hilton has finally responded to the taunting attack ad which so insensitively compared her to Barack Obama. Paris shows that unlike either Obama or rival John McCain (to whom she refers herein as “that wrinkly white-haired guy”), that she can gracefully and eloquently explain complicated matters of energy policy…while wearing a bikini and heels and looking at magazines.

The video’s creator, Adam Mckay (the guy behind “The Landlord”) talks about the moment he came up with the idea in Los Angeles Times.

Going Raw for 30 Days

The main goal of this experiment is to see if a vegan diet can reverse diabetes. To do this six McDonalds-munching Americans had to eat 100% vegan live foods for a month. The result? The diet has pretty much reversed or reduced their insulin dependence in only 30 days. The frightening part? The American Diabetes Association announced that “Diabetes is a chronic disease that has no cure” and yet here we are with examples of people getting better with dieting alone.

Empire State Building to ‘Glitter’ for Mariah Carey

This weekend the Empire State Building is going to lit in pink, lavender, and white. This is because the largest phallus in New York state is honouring (wait for it…drum rolls)…Mariah Carey for a day.

According to a press release, that’s apparently the color ‘motif’ of the new album E=MC², it’s also the colour of dreams, delicate flowers, and the aura of unicorns — which seem to appear in literally every single one of her music videos.

Mariah herself will be turning the Empire State Building to those three colours, giving it the adorable, soft glow that way-too-modernist skyscraper has needed all along at 1 pm tomorrow.

The air force needs Playstation 3

The American Air Force Research Laboratory has just issued a shopping list to FBO which includes 300 Playstaion 3. They claimed it is for a “research” regarding certain cell processors. The processors in the Sony PlayStation 3 are the only brand on the market that utilizes the specific cell processor characteristics needed for this program at an acceptable cost.

It is, however, still uncertain from the above report what exactly does the air force what the PS3s for. My guess would be for National Missile Defence (remember few years ago when there was a rumor saying that the Iraqi military secretly bought numbers of PS2s and use the chips for missiles?)

Or, they’re simply buying the PS3s for a massive game play of “Call of Duty 4.” Who knows? There’s gotta be some recreational activities right?
