Surfer-turned-Armani Model Strikes a Grueling Pose

To me, the limelight wasn’t on the openly gay singer Sam Sparrow in the June edition of Attitude Magazine. The real star was the Australian surfer-turned-Armani model Jaymes Triglone who posed around the pool in swim wear. The layout “Before Night Falls” was done by the gifted Simon Harris. In one of the pages, we see Triglone supporting his body which was leaning on air with his pointed toes and hands on the rail but still looking effortless (and sexy!) Now that’s a professional.

Pete Wentz: Gay Circus Act

Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy has landed the cover story of the August 2008 issue of OUT Magazine. In the interview, he talks about sexuality, his childhood and Andy Warhol:

“Warhol impacted you in the ’80s whether you wanted or not,” he says, but after seeing Piero Manzoni’s Merda d’artista (literally, cans allegedly filled with “artist’s shit”) as a kid, he followed the theme to Warhol. Tributes to his hero fittingly run the gamut, from T-shirts — one has Warhol’s name across the chest of a baseball-style jersey; another is a set of cartoon monster portraits with “Warholier than thou” as tagline — to a new bar with an underground space modeled after Warhol’s less glamorous hangout, Max’s Kansas City.”

Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland hasn’t been quite successful on her own. Like her friend Michelle Williams, (who went on and did gospels), she didn’t want to do something too similar with Beyonce. Williams did well, but not Rowland. Now Rowland is trying to hit the music scene again with her new song Comeback and it’s good. She finally faced the fact that she needs to do something main stream and similar to Beyonce in order to establish her solo career. People are going to say “That’s so Beyonce!” And Rowland will give them a “So what? I’m hot” attitude. My thoughts? Hot chocolate!
