After covering Interview Magazine for Andy Warhol’s would have been 80th birthday, Marc Jacobs is now working with Posh Spice. Victoria Beckham appears doll-like for the latest Marc Jacobs Ad Campaign. Doll, Tranny, Posh or just a mess? You tell me. (I personally think it’s all of the above…a hot mess of posh tranny doll)

If only it had a mouth, that fatuous feline Hello Kitty would certainly be smiling.
Japan has appointed the mouthless moggy as a goodwill tourism ambassador in Hong Kong and China. It marks the first time a cartoon character has become a goodwill ambassador for Japan under the governments campaign launched in 2003 to promote visits to the country.
A Hello Kitty blog will be on the campaign website to introduce tourist attractions in Japan. Sounds like a game of cat and mouse to me.
P.S. Am I the only one who is freaked out by the fact that this thing hasn’t got a mouth?

The new line of retro underwear from Aussiebum, 100% ribbed cotton old school style. Watch the sexy male model – being spied on by his girlfriend – lounging at home watching TV, changing his clothes and walking around in nothing but underwear. It’s all about the bulge, I mean, the underwear. Oh, it talks about human behaviour on spying as well, quite educational right?

Several weeks ago, the Polaroid Corporation announced it will quit the instant-film business in 2009 (not surprising given the rising of digital photography.) However, photographers and artists are not happy about this at all.
New York Magazine reports; “Now what the hell am I supposed to do?” asks John Waters, who’s shot a Polaroid of each person who’s come into his apartment since 1992—friends, interviewers, delivery men, everyone. “Digital isn’t instant gratification, and those cameras don’t make that sexy sound.”
I sense a Save Polaroid campaign coming. Save polaroids, save the world?

Amnesty unveils shock ‘waterboarding’ film.
“The water is poured very carefully over the nose – you keep a constant pour. You are drowning in water but you don’t have the ability to hold your breath. You feel the water going in, you understand that water is filling your lungs” said The Independent.
The advertisement can also be seen at www.unsubscribe-me.org from today and at 50 cinemas from next month onwards.
