Lady Gaga, Robin Thicke and Miss Universe

So people didn’t just love Miss Universe 2008 and Crystal Stewart’s fall, but also its music. Here are the two official music videos of the songs used. Robin Thicke‘s Magic as heard in the night gown competition and Lady Gaga‘s Just Dance (featuring Colby O’Donis and Akon) as heard in the bikini competition.

On one hand we have platinum seller, R&B and soul singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and occasional actor Robin Thicke. On the other we have 22-year old dance-pop and electronica musician who has written songs for Pussycat Dolls. I sure am looking forward to more music face offs between the two.

B-ball for the China earthquake victims was played steet style and raised over 80,000 HKD last week in an all out exhibition match between AND1 U.S.A and local celebrities team which included Jaycee Chan. Jaycee made major cash by catching nothing but air 8 times in a row in a free throw contest. 24 Herbs, SIR JBS MC’d the game and the whole band kept the fans out of their seats during halftime. The final score didn’t matter because everyone won on this night. Look for the next Streetball event — it should not be missed.

Delta’s “Cozy Suite” in Economy Class

Most of us hate economy class, Delta’s new “Cozy Suite” seats promise to make economy class seating less hellish. The major feature of the design is a staggered layout that increases privacy while simultaneously creating a space for weary travelers to rest their heads. It also allows passengers to enjoy 31-inches of leg room (2-inches better than the competition) and the ability to recline without disturbing the person behind them.

Delta is planning to have these seats in the economy section of its Boeing 777 and 767 fleet by year 2010. It still may not be as fancy as first class accommodations, but it’s a change from what we are having.
