Most Beautiful Man for September: Not Surprised

Yes, it’s the one and only Michael Phelps. It’s no surprise to anyone that Mostbeautifulman.com has chosen this 14 career Olympic gold medals winning Olympian.(Now let’s not forget he also holds seven world records in swimming. Him being the man of the month is predictable, but I’m not complaining.

Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels

Pick the stars from the sky and wear the universe at your wrist. Oh isn’t that romantic? Reading time with the stars under the Paris constellation can now be done through the Midnight in Paris timepiece. It represents the map of stars under the Parisian sky. The mechanical movement is unique, its extreme complexity linking the concept of time to that of the Cosmos as a dazzling homage to that other mysterious and fascinating world.

The Midnight in Paris timepiece recreates the map of the celestial dome. This is done by a rotating disk made of aventurine glass. The mechanism of this jewel-like timepiece is visible thanks to a sapphire glass case back that is protected by a pink gold moveable flap. On the back of the timepiece, the disk surrounding the calendar is set with real meteorite stone.

The detail in blue :Ballon Bleu de Cartier

Cartier’s hip item of the year, ballon bleu de Cartier, merges out-of-the-box creativity with traditional elegance (thus the word ballon).

To comply with the watch, the luanch party at Shang-hai was all about creativity. It was, to borrow the phrase from Disney, magical. The conference hall was turned into a red gift box placed on a blue velvet, which was vigourous and futuristic. The guests in the red cocktail area provided a magic album of ballon bleu de Cartier which transfer photos through bluetooth. It immediately turned the guests into a main character of a comic. Then the French magician would turn blue balloons into champagnes and gold fish which floats in the air. With the help of the lights, countless images of ballon bleu watches were showcased. Interesting aye?

That’s wasn’t all. Imagine an absolute silver tunnel on the second floor filled with Cartier watches at both sides. On the third floor it was a blue theme room with a performance by an English opera singer complimented by modern dancers as the opening, followed by a contemporary “Magical Sand” performance by a German artists. The night ended with a Chinese Musician “Lee Chuan(李泉).”
