Sean Hayes Back in New York

The Will & Grace star opened earlier this month in  Damn Yankees with Cheyenne Jackson and Jane Krakowski, making his New York stage debut in the Encores! Summer Stars series at City Center.

According to The New York Times interview; “To [Hayes] Damn Yankees isn’t about sin and salvation, “it’s about how the grass is always greener on the other side, but in the end knowing who you are, being true to yourself and being happy with that.”

Pete Wentz’s Gay Bitch Talks Business

The August issue of OUT Magazine didn’t just interview Pete Wentz, but also his gay business partner, Stephen Westman, who runs Wentz Inc. When asked what exactly does he do for Wentz, he replies “I’m his bitch.” Sounds sexy doesn’t it?

Here’s what he has to say about his business relationship with Wentz; “Westman talks to Wentz, who according to both men is more of a collaborator than a boss, maybe a half dozen times a day — staccato voice mails, one-line e-mails, and distracted conversations where they finish each other’s sentences. “In this world, I am very fortunate to be ‘the gay guy,’ ” Westman says. “I bring such a different perspective creatively. I can be articulate yet animated, professional yet funny. I don’t think straight guys get to do that. I can say ‘Bro, I’m a homo’ and go right into it. There are advantages.”

Marc Jacobs: Illustration to Photograph

marc jacobs andy warhol marc jacobs andy warhol interview

Designer Marc Jacobs covers the June/July 08 issue of Interview magazine (celebrating what would have been Andy Warhol‘s 80th birthday on August 6), donning false eyelashes and a classic white Warhol wig for a series of portraits that seem to shift from illustration to photograph. A very Andy Warhol drag homage.

In the interview, Marc Jacobs says; “Warhol is Warhol. He’s practically a god. I thought, ‘I’m going to get a lot of hell for this.”

We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things

Who can forget Jason Mraz’s Geek in the Pink and Wordplay? His up coming album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things is scheduled for release on May 20. The video above is video of “I’m Yours,” one of his new singles from his upcoming album.

In the interview with NewNowNext he talked about his kooky video blog, his collabo with Colbie Caillat and his love for his many gay friends.

Here’s an excerpt:

Why the decision to release three EPs? (WE SING came out March 18th; WE DANCE came out April 15th; and WE STEAL THINGS will be available as part of the iTunes album bundle.)

It’s been so long since I’ve put anything out; I spent the last year-and-a- half just work-shopping the sounds in coffee shops and everything. And I promised a lot of people I was going to make an acoustic project next – and when I came home from London, I had my funkiest album yet. And I thought, OK, I guess an acoustic album would be next.

Then I came up with the idea of the three EPs, and that gave me the opportunity to release the album songs in a stripped-down, raw format … And I just thought it would be fun – to reintroduce ourselves to the world. ‘Cause I hear so much from the fans, We just like it when it’s just you – just you and Toca. And I do too; I love that. Because I spent a lot of my year as an acoustic duo and a funky band; I divided it up equally. It’s a sort of way to divide up this album, to have an acoustic version and a dance-able version.
