Janice Dickinson Plus Gay Deaf Model

So while Tyra is having a transgender contestant on the coming season of ANTM, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency is back and signing an openly gay and deaf model.

AFTERELTON reports “Martin is also the first deaf model to appear on the show, and it will no doubt be interesting to see how navigating a modeling career may hold special challenges for a deaf person. Janice is also moving in with the models this season, adding a Big Brother-style element to the show … which of course is just guaranteeing trouble.

Oh my, I could never imagine what’s living with THE Janice Dickinson is going to be like.

Chad White as Icarus for OUT

For OUT’s September issue, photographer Francois Rousseau remade the myth with Chad White as a fashion forward Icarus. Icarus was the son of Daedalus, who crafted two sets of wax wings so he and his son could escape exile in Crete. He warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, which Icarus did. Icarus fell into the sea. Of course, he wasn’t wearing a feather scarf by Burberry Prorsum at the time.

Sam Sparro‘s amazing debut album will officially be released in the U.S. later this month. Of course, all you savvy pop aficionados around the world have already found a way to get a hold of this good piece of music, but the time has come to pop the champagne and share our little secret with others.

It’s Prince, Goldfrapp and D’Angelo are rolled into one irresistable package. His single “Black & Gold” that typifies Sam’s signature sound – as Sam would it put it, “classic soul meets classic funk mixed with the kind of music I listen to now.”
